GED Test: Consists of five tests which measure an individual’s  high school education level in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social studies. For more information on the GED test: www.gedpractice.com, and www.gedtest.org.

 

Text Box: Literacy Classes: Provide instruction in basic academic skills and GED preparation. Passing the GED exam can be the first step towards a better job, higher education, further training, and a brighter future.

Text Box: English as a Second Language Classes (ESL): Provide instruction for adults who have limited English speaking skills. Classes offer opportunities to learn basic writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Adult education enables you to be literate, productive and successful in our changing

world, your own home, the workplace, and your community.

Class Enrollment is held  at the Norman Public Schools administration building , 131 S. Flood.     

 

You will learn about class times and locations. Required paperwork will be filled out and you will select and enroll in your class.   This meeting includes time for questions and answers. .

 

 

The Norman Adult Education program offers literacy and English language classes for adults.  The purpose of the program is to:

Build literacy skills

Provide academic training that leads to employment

Help parents work with their children on school work

Prepare adults to complete their General Education Diploma (GED)

Assist non-English speakers with language development.

All classes are free and meet in different locations throughout Cleveland County.
